Dental Caries
 Dental caries, by its simplest definition, is the event of destruction of the enamel, which is the outermost hard tissue of the tooth, the dentine beneath it, and sometimes the cementum covering the surface of the root.
The neglect of the mouth care begins with the harvest of the enamel layer, the outermost layer of the resultant tooth.
Why Does Dental Caries Occur?
Generally, carbohydrate foods (sugar and starch, cola and similar sugary drinks, cake chocolate, etc.) are caused by the food being left on the tooth surface for a long time. Bacteria living in the mouth are fed with these food residues and as a result acid is produced with the aid of microorganisms in the mouth.
After a while, this acid medium breaks down and destroys the hard tissues of the teeth, and tooth decay is occurring. The decay progresses with time and spreads to the inner layer. The tooth is called dentin, the layer underneath the miner, and has the ability to transmit it to the living tissue of the hot and cold teeth. It is necessary to treat this rotten tooth.
How is the treatment? Within the scope of conservative treatment; (cavity) is filled with a white and aesthetic material (composite material) by removing the soft and diseased (infected) enamel and dentine on the back with rotary instruments.
Do you have filling materials in tooth color?
Yes. Composite resins are tooth-colored materials and can be used in filling and fracture treatment. Because they are in tooth color, it is difficult to distinguish them from natural teeth. They are preferred in the front teeth filling where esthetic is important. In the back regions, they can also be applied according to the depth, width and location of decay.
